LISTEN PRESERVE ENHANCE
Joe Creighton is a long-time resident and community volunteer. Joe served on council from 2012-2018 during which he raised nearly $1 million for renovations and improvements to Riverton Park, including the construction of the grandstand building, and rebuilding of the tennis and basketball courts, primarily with grants. He saved residents about $50,000 in engineering fees by negotiating the tennis/basketball contract. He also served as chair of the Planning/Zoning board in the early 2000s, as President of Pal-Riv AA (baseball and softball). He created the Lions Pride Sports Glasses Program, providing kids with sports glasses with low to no-cost safety eye-wear. He served as volunteer coach for PRAA baseball and softball, Pal-Riv Soccer, Sacred Heart CYO basketball and Delran SC Boys soccer. 
Joe worked as Volunteer Director of Development for Orchard Friends School, and is currently the Director of Donor Engagement for a youth non-profit. He is a graduate of Mount St. Mary’s University, Emmitsburg, MD with a B.S. Business and Finance and a graduate of Holy Cross High School in Delran. His wife, Laurie Bogush Creighton, is a Speech Pathologist working in NJ Early Intervention. They have three children: Hannah (29), Alex (27), and Michael (19). Joe served two terms on Council as a Republican but left when the party no longer aligned with his values. He is now a proud member of the Democratic Party.
